ONE PRAYER SERVOLUTION

The Servolution begins June 5th

Join us as we partner together, with over 700 churches representing nearly half a million people across the globe, in the One Prayer event during the month of June.  As a part of One Prayer, Keystone Church will be kicking off a SERVOLUTION to serve and love our community. There are several incredible opportunities that we would encourage each and every person to jump into and serve others.

What are the Opportunities?

  • GIVE TO THE HAITI ORPHANAGE OFFERING - Father's Day Weekend (June 19/20)
God has opened a door for us to love our neighbor in the earthquake stricken country of Haiti.  Haiti was devastated with over 200,000 people loosing their lives and thousands upon thousands of families being displaced.  We have a unique opportunity to follow God's clear command to care for orphans by adopting an orphanage in Haiti and feeding the children for a full year.  On Father's Day weekend, June 19/20, we will take an offering to raise $15K to adopt the orphanage.  We ask that each of you prayerfully consider how God is directing you to give generously towards this wonderful chance to spread the word of God through providing for these children's basic needs.  This is a great opportunity to give out of your generous pocket of giving.
  • VOLUNTEER at WILD WEEK - Weeknights June 14-18
Wild Week is from June 14th to the 18th and is a tremendous time for the kids of Keystone as well as the kids in our community to learn about God's love and engage in praise, worship, and lots of fun activities.  There are a ton of ways to get involved and use your God-given gifts to serve at Wild Week. Sign-up at the Information Center or on one of the special volunteer cards that will be in your seat on the weekends of May 22/23 and May 29/30.
  • COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS - June 5 & 12
The Servolution Community Service Projects will be June 5th and June 12th. Keystone is partnering together with several non-profit organizations to meet our community at the point of their need. This year we will be partnering with Community Storehouse, Cornerstone Assistance Network and the North Richland Hill's Neighborhood Initiative Program.  You can get involved in impacting lives through a variety of projects ranging from painting to landscaping to cleaning to organizing. By serving in these simple ways, we are allowing God's love to flow through us.  If you are part of a Community Group, encourage your group to adopt a project; serve as a family; and take this as an opportunity to invite a friend to serve with you.  It is going to be amazing!

How Can You Get Involved?

Visit the SERVOLUTION STATION in the lobby to review the different projects that you, your family and community group can participate in.  Once you find a project that appeals to you, register and we will contact you with all the details.

We firmly believe that the month of June will be spectacular and that God is going to do amazing things as we mobilize our people to go out and make a difference in the local community and in the country of Haiti.  Don’t miss out on these opportunities to play a role in LEADING EVERYONE TO EXPERIENCE A PASSIONATE LIFE IN CHRIST by loving others. Philippians 2:3-4, “Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.  Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.”

LOCAL NON-PROFIT PARTNERSHIPS

COMMUNITY STOREHOUSE
The Community Storehouse is dedicated to the well-being and education of the children in our community.  They are a non-profit crisis relief agency that was established 28 years ago in the local Keller community.  There focus is on providing basic needs to help guarantee success in school and make graduation possible for children in the Keller and Northwest Independent School districts.  During times of crisis, they intervene to accommodate the needs of children including but not limited to: medical/dental care, eye care, prescriptions, school supplies, food, clothing, shelter, utilities, and counseling.

CORNERSTONE ASSISTANCE NETWORK
The Cornerstone Assistance Network is comprised of many churches and organizations who want to make a difference in other peoples' lives by helping them to become financially independent of public assistance and to successfully sustain their new lifestyle.  Cornerstone is focused on networking across racial and denominational lines to help change lives one person at a time.  They have many different programs including the New Life Men's Shelter and Trinity Place housing single homeless men on their way to recovery and new life; The Cornerstone Medical Clinic providing medical care to underprivileged residents of Tarrant county who would otherwise not receive medical care; and, The Cornerstone Community Center providing GED tutoring, English and computer classes, and clothing/food for people of the community.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS NEIGHBORHOOD INITIATIVE PROGRAM
The Neighborhood Initiative Program looks to serve their community by making interior and exterior repairs that allow people to maintain the quality of life that they deserve.  They work to encourage volunteerism in their community and demonstrate a commitment from the city to reinvest into their neighborhoods.  The homes effected are typically owned by the elderly, widows or the disabled who are unable to keep up with maintenance of the exterior of their homes by their own means and have no other way to get them facilitated.  Since the program began in 2004, nearly 400 residents have received assistance.
